I decided to go back blonde since spring has kind of sprung :) I love to switch it up as we all know, so it feels good to have something new! I am starting at the El Paso Golf Course once again, but will also be keeping my job at Kohl's on Tue and Wed. I am so stressed yet SOOO excited to be moving down to Carbondale and to start my life over! I will definitly miss everyone here though so I am sure there will be many visits back to Blo-No.

It has been QUITE some time since I last posted so for all those followers out there...*cough cough emily*...heres a little update on my life.

I turned 21 on December 18th. So far it has been pretty fun and filled with tons of going out. So far my favorite bars are Mulligans and the Pub II. This is me on my birthday =]

I am currently not in school this semester. I graduated from Heartland in December and transferred to ISU. They ended up putting me in the wrong major, messed up my financial aid, and by the time I got everything figured out, I had had enough. So instead of going to school this semester I am working at Kohl's as much as I can. The Golf Course also opens back up soon so I am excited to start working both and make tons of moneeyyy :)!!!

I will be transferring to SIU in Carbondale in August. It's about that time to get away and since nothing is really holding me back then why not? I'll also be transferring stores so I will still have a job at Kohl's when I move down there, which is awesome because not too many of my friends have jobs down there since no one hires much. It'll be a new adventure that I am scared and excited about all at the same time.

I have met a boy, actually through Kohl's, who I have been seein now for a little over a month. Things aren't official yet and probably won't be for a while, but we will see how things go. So far so good. It's about that time to move on :)

My nephew Christian will be 1 on April 22nd. He is growing into a little blonde boy and i love him sooo much! He brings a smile to my face everytime I see him, and he is definitly a blessing! He is crawling and babbling all the time, I can't wait for him to start walking and talking!

I also moved back down to Bloomington on November 20th. I live right across the street from Schooners in the upstairs of a house with 2 of my friends, Cassi and Savannah, who both went to my high school. So far it is SOOO much fun and I couldn't ask for a better group of friends than the one's that I have right now. Life is starting to finally get back on track and I couldn't be more happy about that.

So for photography class, we have done one project so far. Project 1 was all about finding frames within frames. I had a lot of fun with this project. Although our main goal was to get frames within frames, we were to also practice with shutter & aperature settings.. here are a few of my pictures from the assignment, and also some that I just took while i was out and about working on this project. Wow, school is so stressful when you work 6 days a week!! I love my photography class so far but everything else i absolutely hate!!! I definitly cannot wait until I am done at Heartland, one more semester left!!!

Ive started to also learn that I need to focus more on myself. Ive been too worried for the last 2 years focusing on other people and trying to make them happy and I'm done. It is time to start making myself happy before I can please someone else. There are a lot of things that I miss about the life I had less than 2 months ago, but I suppose it is time to move on.

Soooo today I decided I would go out and buy a macbook since my old laptop is broken. I'm still in the process of learning how to use an apple laptop since im used to PC's buttttttttt when I figure it out I will make sure to post some awesome new pictures!

Also, school started Monday. So far, so good. I am going to be a very busy girl this fall, but at least it is something to keep me busy and something to keep my mind off of everything!

BRANSON

This year I went with my family to Branson, Missouri. It wasn't the trip that I was hoping for this summer, but Branson was gorgeous and I tried to make the best of it. The first day we went to the landing, which is a bunch of stores on the river. It was so pretty down there, and I got some new cute tennis shoes :)

The days after the first day all kind of blur together now that its been a couple of weeks, but we still did a lot of fun things. One day we went ziplining, another day we went to the caves, and on the second to last night we went to a show with just the "adults". All in all it was a great trip to e able to go on and see my family from texas, and a good time to spend with my own immediate family.

My sister finally gave birth on April 22nd, 2010 to a beautiful baby boy. She named him Christian Carter Clark. He is a blessing, and the one person that I can always count on to make my day a better one. I love him to death :)

I have been very busy, working about 6 days a week at the El Paso Golf Club. I love my job and I wouldn't ever during my college years pick a different job for my summer. I love everyone I work with and my boss is pretty cool too :).

At the end of the school year this past spring I moved back to my grandpa's house in El Paso. My grandpa now resides at Flanagan Nursing Home, so I have the whole house to myself, which is not really my ideal living situation, but it will do for now. I am hoping before the school year starts back up that I will be back down in Normal in a different apartment.

I just recently bought a canon T1i, and although it is still in the process of shipping to my house, I am sooo excited! :) It definitly cost probably a little too much for what I should be buying at the moment, but once I finally got enough money saved up, I just had to have it. It should be here within the next few days, so I will hopefully be posting lots of new pictures :)

I am still dating Michael. It has been almost a year and 8 months now, and still goin good.

Welp, I think that is about all that is going on in my life right now. I am blessed to have such great friends, family, and boyfriend, that I couldn't be happier at the moment :)

Kaleighs birthday was 19 years old on January 7th (yes im a little late :]). ALSO she let me take a couple pictures of her stomach, which im only posting one on here because she'd freak if she found out i posted more hehe. Her due date is May 16th and I am getting more and more excited as the days go by. It isn't the best situation, and it was a complete accident, but our family will be there to support her no matter what through "baby ray j". She plans on naming the baby boy either Kameron or Kaden (I'm rooting for Kaden, but I think she wants Kameron more). These are just a few pictures from her birthday. We went out for dinner to Koozy's in El Paso, and then came home to DELICIOUS cheese cake which is my favorite!!

In the past couple of weeks, ive sort of been trying to get my live in order and figure out what I want. When it comes to school & work & money, life can be soo stressful, but I've realized that I would be no where without all of the wonderful people I have in my life. Lately, I have been making a lot more time for my friends, and it has made me a lot more happier. It's always fun to just have a chill night with a few good friends, and share stories from the week or other gossip ;)

Comedy Club

So, if you have never been to the Comedy Club here in Bloomington, you should definitly put it on your schedule. It's located right by Playto's Closet off of verterans and clearwater. It definitly wasn't like going to one in Chicago or something like that, but it was still pretty funny and a good time. There are three performers that go on for the night. First there are two opening acts, usually not someone that well known. For example, there was a guy that was from Bloomington that went second. The third performer is someone that is more well known I guess ( even tho I had never heard of him ). Either way it was a lot of fun, and if you are 21 then there are waitresses that walk around and get drinks for you :)

So Emily had been DYING for me and michael to come over for dinner, so last week we finally got a chance to go over. We had a casserole dish and then watched some American Idol. There were some funny people, and my personal favorite was "Pants on the Ground"...... :)

After American Idol we got to play some wii, and by the time we finished all of that it was time to go. It was tons of fun and I can't wait to do it again! :)

I had a great Christmas this year. I got all kinds of gifts, many of which I did not expect. On Christmas Eve, Michael & I exchanged gifts. He got me a shirt from AE, a necklace from AE, some spray, and something else I can't remember. I got him Bulls tickets for March against Cleveland, a Kansas City Chiefs sweatshirt and t-shirt, and the movie The Hangover.Afterwards, we went to El Paso to go to church and then have dinner at my aunts house.

On Christmas Day, I exchanged gifts with my parents and got all kinds of goodies. Later in the afternoon I headed to Michael's side at his grandma Reeter's in Bloomington and got WAY too many gifts, but I am very thankful that my boyfriend's family is so kind. Rhys & William got me matchbox cars again & some candy canes. Emily & Ryan got me a 20 dollar gift card, and his parents got me all kinds of things from boots, to a thing where I can eat or do homework while not sitting at the table (which btw comes in use ALL THE TIMEEE).

WELLLLLL, its been since Halloween since I have posted anything...(woops!) I should probably start keepin up with this thing for 2010 so I can keep my most dedicated followers(cough cough EMILY haha) up to date with whats goin on in my life. I will start of with Thanksgiving since my last post was about Halloween...

Thanksgiving

It's been quite a while so I don't remember much about Thanksgiving, but I do remember it was a pretty fun day. Except for the fact that I had to work the next day at 345 AM :(....... I had Thanksgiving for my dad's side of the family in El Paso at noon, then headed to Michaels grandma Reeters in Bloomington. After hanging out there for most of the day we headed to the other side of his family, the Meiner side. We had dinner there and then went downstairs to hang out. It was pretty fun overall.

boo!

Halloween this year was great, and I had a blast! Every night from Thursday-Saturday was filled with tons of stuff to do.

Thursday night: I hung out with my friends Nikki and Ashley after I got out of class. We decided to meet up with my friend/old neighbor Brett at a party. Nikki, Ashley, & I were the "walks of shame".....classy, eh? ;)

Friday Night: Friday, one of my best friends KENZIE came to town, so of course we had to celebrate. Calyn & I decided on being cowgirls that night. Kenzie was a sailor, her friend was an 80's girl, and Amelia was the Statue of Liberty. We walked what seemed like forever to a party in Normal, and it was a blast. We ended up at the frat ARG, and it was amazing to be reunited with kenz. :)

Saturday Night: If I had to pick my favorite night out of all three I would definitly say Saturday. I got to see a mojority of all of my favorite people and I overall had a blast!! At about 2:30 pm I went to work in my costume. A girl named Amanda, and I, were the two lucky ones that got scheduled to work on halloween.....yay....not ;). It ended up not being TOO bad, although I would have loved to have gotten out earlier, but oh well.
After work, I wasted no time and headed straight over to Nikki's. After I got a few drinks in me and played a round of beer pong, the party bus was there to pick us up. We all headed over to a guy that Nikki is friends with from work who was having a keg. Michael & I didn't last long there, and had to have our friends Wendy & Josh come pick us up. When they picked us up we headed on over to a friends house who was having a huge halloween party. It ended up being really fun. Michael & I walked back to my apartment after the party. Overall it was an AMAZING Halloween filled with all fun and no drama, just the way I like it!!

(I also forgot to mention that this halloween was mine & Michael's one year anniversary of first hanging out ;) just thought i'd throw that in there. We decided to celebrate by dressing up together. Shockingly, that was Michael's idea. We were Cowboy's & Indian's if you couldn't tell.)

Last Saturday, Michael & I went to Chicago to look at potential apartments that he would in interested in. He is thinking about going to a college up there next fall, so we figured that we better get started on the whole apartment search. It ended up being more of a site seeing trip for me, and it was my first time in the city that I can remember. (last time was when I was a little kid with my parents) We also rode the train from Westmont to Chicago. That was also my first time on a train since i was a little :) It was just a day of firsts for me. It ended up being an AMAZING time and I cannot wait to go back!!!!!

So this semester I enrolled in a photography class to help slim out my general ed. load, and to hopefully take some awesome pictures and learn how to develop them. We have had a few assignments since school started, and so far I love it. Our first assignment was called "Scavenger Hunt", and my film ended up being blank. Since it was blank, my teacher told me that I could just go around and take pictures on my camera of anything I wanted just so I could get a feel for the camera and learn kind of how to use the different things on it. My camera is a 35mm camera, and I can only use film that I can develop on my own. For this assignment though we got to take it to a Walgreen's and have them develop it for us. I just finally got this assignment back today and figured I'd share a few of the pictures that I took while I was experimenting with the camera. I took a variety of pictures and enjoyed playing around with the camera. I only hope that my next assignments will be better.

WELP, its been quite a long time since I have updated this thing. A lot has happend in the past
few months.

I moved into a new apartment with a girl named Amelia Paccamonti on June 30th. So far things are going great!! Our apartment is a little ghetto, and we get nervous sometimes, but all in all its been amazing. I couldn't ask for a better roommate!!

I went on an awesome vacation with the Meiner family (aka, my boyfriends fam) and it was a blast!! I'm not even joking when I say that it was probably the best vacation I've ever been on. We went to Lake Sylvan, Minnesota for a week and a half and spent all that time on the lake. I learned how to ski, although I was not good at it at all, and got to jet ski & tube a lot. Jealous yet??

Two weeks after we got back from vacation, I started back at school.....here's where it gets boring. I'm going full time again this semester. I am taking Math 96, Biology, a Religions course, and Photography (my fave :]) So far it isn't going to bad. My classes aren't TOO terribly hard, but who likes school?........no one.

I am still working at the El Paso Golf Club as a waitress/bartender. As the summer went on I started to bartend almost full time, and so far I love it!! I like learning how to make new drinks, and feeling more responsible :).

NIU

I went to NIU in Dekalb last weekend for my best friend Kelly's 20th birthday. Everything from the ride there, the ride back, and everything in between was lots of fun. There were a few moments throughout the night that made me a little angry, but overall I had a great time with a few of my besties! :) I went with Leslie, and we made lots of stops on the way there. She picked me up around 4ish, then we headed to El Paso to get gas, subway, and pick up something from Kelly's house that her mom wanted us to give her. Then we headed to Minonk to go to Pop's, which is a place full of all kinds of candy!! We had to take a couple of detours on the way there because of construction but we made it. Then we finally headed on our journey up to NIU. It didn't feel like it took as long as usual, but when we got there we headed up to Kelly's room and started getting ready. Leslie's sister Lauren met us up there, and she braided my hair on the side while we were all getting dazzled up. We pre-gamed in Kelly's dorm, then finally headed onto the frat AKL. Leslie brought her video camera so it was a lot of fun filming things, and having stuff to watch so we could remember the next day.

Tonight I went out with a few of my best friends for Ashlie's birthday at Logan's Roadhouse. It was a lot of fun, and veryyyy filling. It was fun to finally get with some of my girl friends again since I haven't really done anything besides party with anyone for a while now. I'm finally starting to work again out at the Golf Course, and I am so excited about it because that means I'll be making some moolah!! It's a little weird because I haven't had to situate my schedule (not that I really have one but..ya) around work, but it's a part of life and I'm just gonna have to deal with it ;)

today was really fun and eventful. I woke up, and missed my classes......imagine that. sleeping is just so much more fun. when I woke up, I got ready, and headed to Pontiac for an eventful day. When I got there, I picked up some McDonalds for Michael & I, and headed to his house. When I got there, he told me that the clubs were in Rhys' (his younger brother) car at the High School. We decided to go get him out of class and get them. After we waited in the office for 10 min. for him to get out of P.E. (which btw we saw some weird people getting into some trouble) we finally got the clubs and headed to the Elk's to do some golfing. We decided to golf on the back nine, and lemme tell ya................I was really bad. Golfing apparently is just not my thing. It took me many times to hit the ball, but Michael was a great teacher and gave me lots of good pointers that I will possibly use next time I decide to humiliate myself by golfing.

After we were done, we headed back to his house and I slept for a while while he watched some TV, then we got ready for our delicious cook out. I had steak, which I couldn't cut, so Michael cut it for me. It was some amazing steak and even though im not too fond of steak, I still thought it was pretty good. His family and I, plus his sister Emily's fiance, Ryan, played an interesting yet funny game of telephone for about half an hour. When all that was said and done, me, michael, emily, rhys, and william watched some home videos, which seems to be something that we tend to do often now a days. It was a very eventful and busy night, but it was so much fun, like always. His family is almost like my second family and everytime i go over there, I feel more and more comfortable around them.

When I left, I went to visit some of my old friends for a little St. Patty's Day celebration and it was really fun to finally get to see them again. All in all, today was a great day!
